Five phone shortcuts that save time every day

Five phone shortcuts that save time every day

Star codes let you change how your phone behaves straight from the keypad, without logging into anything. Here are five worth knowing.

  1. 1
*72 + number: forward your calls
Heading out? Dial *72 followed by your 10-digit mobile number to send calls there. Dial *73 to turn forwarding off.
  2. 2
    *78: do not disturb
Send calls straight to voicemail while you’re in a meeting. Dial *79 to turn it off.
  3. 3
    *69: call return
Missed a call? Dial *69 to call back the last number that called you.
  4. 4
    *67 + number: private call
Hide your caller ID for a single call.
  5. 5
    *80 / *81: record a call
Start and stop recording during a call. Make sure the other person knows they’re being recorded.
Good to know

Call forwarding with *72 only forwards to a phone or an outside number. To forward to an auto-attendant or another user, use the portal or ask us.
